The decisions ahead, the evidence needed, and where I can help

Start with the project’s purpose and the choices due over the next year. For each choice, identify the evidence already available, the additional work that could change it, and when that work must reach the decision maker.

The overview also records where modeling or critical thinking could help: framing the question, exposing an assumption, comparing options, or designing a study that resolves a consequential uncertainty.
