Publishing the 3 RECIST Lesion Model

Turning a 2011 ASCO poster into a citable preprint

At ASCO 2011, Stein, Carter, Hollaender, Motzer and Sarr presented a model of the RECORD-1 phase 3 trial of everolimus (Afinitor) in metastatic renal cell carcinoma that describes all three RECIST lesion types: the sum of target lesion diameters, the progression of nontarget lesions, and the appearance of new lesions. The three predictions combine into a progression-free survival prediction for each patient. The model exists only as a poster (PDF). This project writes it up as a preprint with a DOI, so it can be cited.
